I have been participating in several workshops with nationally known artists.  It has been very interesting and very rewarding.  One of the workshops that I attended was given by Nancy Medina.  I have admired her paintings for many years and when I found out she was having a workshop near where I live I signed up.  It was great fun.  I have always loved to paint flowers and was eager to find out how Nancy got such gorgeous clear colors in her paintings.  It was very informative to watch her paint the demos and she is an excellent teacher and talks you through what she is doing.  I learned a lot.  After the demo each day we would do a painting of our own.  I love working with her technique and will probably incorporate it into my paintings from now on.
